The new work of a band with over 10 years experience could offer more, maybe I'm not familiar with the sound of this band and so ended up not taking the "roll" on this disc, with the peculiar style that load.

Yet after several (more than 6) heard, I could choose some items that stick out (to my taste), this "The Obsidian Conspiracy" , which fortunately not very long, nor as complex or as often roughage many materials, which are hanging the label "progressive", many of them forgettable.

direct Turning now to the issue, we begin with "The Termination Proclamation" although it has great riffs, power in most of the theme, it sounds as authentic drum machine over the issue, after several times listen to the song, still do not like the slow, lethargic and boring ending, something similar happens to "Your Poison Throne" try to lift, but it simply does not take off and stay in the same rhythm, which simply does not catch or a bit, could make it 20 times and would follow thinking the same thing. Finally one is half awake with "Moonrise (Through Mirrors Of Death)" , though still on the same slow pace, this time they put more forcefully to the overall sound, with some heavier riffs and dense, although these point the peculiar voice of Mr. Warrel begins to nag a bit.

Finally, something really redeeming "And The Maiden Spoke" , leave out the boring rhythm of the original tracks, and put more variety in the structure of the track, sounding really strong at times, and this time giving the management due to the slow times, good riffs, some interesting melodic riffs, well, remarkable.

We jumped too quickly to another remarkable "Without Morals" , melodic and very good to my taste, which Warrel's voice fits well with the structure of the item, good riffs, solos acceptable, although not a fast track , is quite intense and changeable.

Another interesting and melodic "She Comes In Colors" a certain air of mystery, especially as you go home and becomes more intense and powerful, with good melodic riffs, and good handling when changing gears , which handles well on this track and does not sound like most plane. Another

NEVERMORE unsalvageable and was saved for last is the track that gives name to the CD "The Obsidian Conspiracy , is easily the most full-disk thrasher, fast powerful riffs cañerisimos as typically done in the genre (I mean the thrash, of course ...), combining a bit with the band's label, but without taking away even a gram power, even the slow parts were brutal, melodic riffs popping and sharp, as well as the excellent solos, if the disk had 4 other tracks like this, I would be praising his knees.

As I said before, this will not be a band before and I continue to believe that after this less, be a matter of taste.
